Nursing Programs at Millennium College of Nursing
Millenium College of Nursing offers a five-year Nursing training, which includes two years of National Diploma (ND) in Nursing, two years of Higher National Diploma in Nursing (HND), and one year of clinical practice which is a full-time study program.
In the ND Nursing program, students will be exposed to basic nursing skills and clinical experience.
A period of 14-16 weeks is spent in the clinical area per annum. During such periods, students are posted on rotation bases into different units in the hospitals and outside the hospital. There would be one full-year compulsory terminal clinical trial.
After the completion of the ND program, students who obtain a minimum of 2.50 CGPA will be enrolled in the HND nursing program where they will have to undergo their Post basic Nursing training.

This training is meant for only students who passed the general nursing final qualifying examination conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria when they were in their ND Nursing program.
Aside from the Basic and Post Basic Nursing program, the college also offers a four-year Post Basic MidwiferyEducation for midwives who have qualified and are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
This is offered in the Public Health department of the college during the HND II (fourth year) for successful students during the general nursing final qualifying examination.
