ECWA College of Nursing Sciences offers the following Nursing Program 

Basic Nursing

The Basic Nursing Programme at ECWA College of Nursing Sciences Egbe is three years. It consists of two semesters per year. 

Each semester is 17 weeks in duration. Seven internal examinations are conducted during the program. A national qualification examination is conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria at the end of the program.

The program teaches students how to Apply the knowledge of biological, behavioral, technological, and Nursing Sciences in assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.

Post Basic Nursing Program

The Post Basic Nursing Programme is 18 months.  It consists of three semesters. Four internal examinations are conducted during the program. A national qualifying examination will be conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria at the end of the program.

Basic Midwifery 

ECWA College of Nursing Science is a three-year program that prepares competent, skilled, versatile, and independent midwife practitioners, who are capable of providing high-level healthcare to individuals and expectant families in homes, communities, health centers, hospitals, and rural/urban centers to reduce maternal and infant mortality.

The curriculum is specifically designed for the training of midwives who are critical to the delivery of safe maternal and child health services at the community level. This midwife is capable of functioning in all areas including primary health care centers.

The Basic Midwifery Program consists of integrating theory with related practical demonstration and clinical experiences.The program runs in the first and second semesters each year.  Seven internal examinations are conducted during the program. A national qualifying examination is conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria at the end of the program.
